I’m writing today from MV Coastal Inspiration, on my way to Vancouver. Headed to see my old friend Mikel and continue the progress on my bodysuit.
It feels weird to actually acknowledge that I’m going that way. I feel less awkward about it all the time, even though I’ve had one sleeve for over five years, and the other going on two now. Working on this has been one of the most satisfying experiences I’ve ever had.
Of course, I say the preceding paragraphs before the session that I just endured. Yes, my lower abdomen is done. I’m very glad I know about box breathing. We also sketched out the plan for the top of my chest. My front should be done by the summertime.
For now though, tacos and beer to soothe my ravaged nerves.
