Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s something else, but I am celebrating the fact that I had a banner week for bookings and gigs this week. It started with a quick note from an old pal asking if I’d do a restaurant gig at Pagliacci’s (heck yes). 25 minutes later, I got a text from another pal asking if I was available for two nights this weekend doing some restaurant jazz (heck yes) and the outcome of the first of those two gigs was an ask to do two more next month (heck yes).
Add to this the playing time with Civic Orchestra, work, and my own stuff, and things are really starting to heat up. About time!
